Year in Review: 2024 Highlights + What’s Coming in 2025
Yes, I know it’s already January 2025—and here I am just now writing my 2024 end-of-year letter. Let’s just call it fashionably late, shall we? (Besides, does it really count as late if we’re still in January?) 😅
As I reflect on 2024, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible moments I’ve had the privilege to capture and the wonderful people I’ve met along the way. It’s been a year filled with milestones, growth, and unforgettable memories, and I’m so thankful to each of you for being part of it.
✨ Highlights of 2024 ✨
This year, I shot over 80 mini sessions, connecting with so many new and familiar faces. I also had the honor of photographing 17 beautiful weddings, each as unique and special as the couples I worked with.
A few other personal highlights:
🌟 Shot my first wedding in Montreal—what an incredible experience!
🌟 Won Wedding Photographer of the Year at the Ottawa Awards—a recognition that truly touched my heart.
🌟 Exhibited at the Herb Garden Open House and Jabulani Open House, where I met so many wonderful people and connected with amazing couples.
🌟 Launched a new mini session format that makes it more affordable to update your photos throughout the year!
On a personal note, this year was equally special. I turned 30, Thor turned 3, and I finally saw Taylor Swift in concert—twice! 🎶 If you’re curious, I shared all about it in this blog post. I also made a breakthrough in balancing my PCOS symptoms, which has been a significant personal win. Oh, and I found some time to sneak down to Disneyland, which was magical.
Looking ahead to 2025
I’m so excited for what’s to come this year:
🌟 The FSP team is growing! This means quicker turnaround times and faster email responses to serve you even better.
🌟 A full rebrand is on the way—stay tuned for a refreshed look and exciting updates that will reflect the heart and soul of Farrah Sanjari Photography.
🌟 And of course, the 2025 mini session schedule will be released in February. The first mini session will be Mother's Day studios minis on Sunday, April 27 in the morning at Skye Studio so save the date! If you’d like to get notified when they are released, sign up for my newsletter here.
